Welcome to Aerodance

Do you remember that ‘hairbrush in the mirror’ moment, when you danced like nobody was watching? At Aerodance you’ll relive that feeling in a fun, friendly atmosphere. Our classes help you to feel healthier, both physically and mentally, through the enjoyment of dance. Come and join us. We’re a very welcoming bunch!

The Aerodance Story

Who’s it for?

After 22 years of Aerodance, we’ve worked with an incredibly diverse group of women. Our classes cater for all types:

  • Absolute beginners are welcome. If you’re concerned about your first class, find out more here.
  • Mums of young kids. Aerodance was started by a mum, and the parents in our classes enjoy our friendly, supportive community.
  • Low-impact classes are available. All the fun of Aerodance, not so hard on the joints!

Why Aerodance?

The best people to answer that question are our Aerodancers themselves! Aerodancer Lorraine said:

“Love being back. I always feel so much happier on Aerodance day!”

And Sally says:

It’s so good the have class to look forward to each week and the music this term is SO uplifting. Exactly what we need’

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I bring to a class?

Just yourself, some water and wear comfortable exercise clothing. Anything goes in our classes. Please wear trainers on your feet.

Can I bring a friend?

Of course! Aerodance is a great place to make new friends, and we will make sure you’re not lost at your first class. But if you know another wannabe dancer who wants to let her hair down, why not try it together!

What Covid precautions are in place?

Last updated: 13th January 2022

Covid restrictions have lifted but we have decided to keep classes to a maximum number of dancers. At the end of your class please let your teacher know if you are not planning to attend the following week. This way we can keep control of the numbers in class

If there is a stage at the venue, your teacher will teach the class from here. We keep the windows open where we can and each venue has its own entrance and exit procedures
